Doodlestix is basically a good kid and wants to do what’s right, but often makes bad choices and suffers the consequences. Fortunately, Doodlestix learns a lot in this process and is willing to write your child frequently to teach them how to do what’s right and stay out of trouble.

Doodlestix provides a structured framework for parents to communicate values and life lessons to their children in a fun and entertaining way.

Children listen to their friends and their parents - sometimes in that order! Doodlestix provides positive peer pressure as well as the parent to communicate character traits and life lessons to children. Each letter presents a life lesson or experience from a peer's perspective, helping your child relate to the message and "absorb it".

We believe most parents want their children to do what's right, but may not have a good support structure for teaching them. That's where Doodlestix comes in! We felt that kids would be more likely to listen to instruction from another kid's point of view and that this type of influence should come early in their development, before they are exposed to negative influences in the external environment.

Doodlestix is not intended to be the sole source of character education for your child. Rather, it is one tool in your toolbox to support and reinforce your efforts to teach your children.

So by now you're wondering, what exactly does a Doodlestix subscription entail? We're glad you asked. Each Doodlestix subscription includes:

• Personalized letters written to your child from Doodlestix teaching a character trait, life lesson or value
• A parent guide to accompany each letter to help you talk to your child about the ideas presented in each of Doodlestix's letters
• A regular teachable moment - each letter provides a unique and consistent opportunity to engage your child in conversation about how to "do the right thing"

When you subscribe to Doodlestix, you will be asked to fill out a profile for your child. We'll use this profile to customize each letter specifically to your child. Doodlestix writes to your child as a friend, telling stories about his experiences and adventures and the lessons he learns as a result. Along with each letter, you'll receive an accompanying parent guide via email that outlines the lesson presented in your child's letter. Of course. After all, you're the parent and we're here to help you - not make your life harder! We have several options you may select from, allowing you to tailor your child's Doodlestix experience to his or her (and your) needs and preferences.

Currently, Doodlestix is offered on a monthly and two times a month basis. That is, you can choose to receive a letter from Doodlestix just one time each month (12 each year), or Doodlestix can send two letters each month (24 each year).

In addition to how often you receive letters from Doodlestix, you can choose how you receive them. Is your child a huge fan of getting letters in the mail? We've got great news for you. Doodlestix can send each letter addressed to your child via US Postal Mail. If you prefer to receive Doodlestix letters by email, that's cool too. Whether you're going green, want to save a few dollars, or are the proud parent of the next Steve Jobs or Bill Gates, Doodlestix can deliver his letter direct to your inbox.

Doodlestix sends letters on the 1st and 15th of the month. If you opt for postal mail delivery, please allow a few days after these dates for your letter to arrive. If you choose email delivery, your Doodlestix letter will appear in your inbox immediately on the appropriate mailing date.

Every single Doodlestix subscription, no matter the frequency, or whether you receive it via email or snail mail, begins as a free trial. It really is that simple. Your first month is on us. If for some reason you aren’t thrilled with Doodlestix, or your child threatens “If I get one more letter from Doodlestix, why I’m gonna...” (which hasn’t happened yet!) you can cancel your subscription within the trial period of one month and you won’t be charged a penny.
